Looking for a fun and engaging activity that will stimulate your creative mind? Join our NDIS-friendly pottery course designed specifically for participants! Each week we will explore the wonderful and versatile medium of clay, collaborating to create delightful and meaningful projects tailored to your individual needs and interests.
Over the course of six weeks, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, experiment with different techniques, and shape your ideas into tangible works of art. In our supportive small group environment, you’ll make two to three unique pieces that you can proudly take home and showcase. Aug 29th Break for firing. No classes this week.
Sept 5th 10-12pm Glazing day.
THINGS TO KNOW!
Class Requirements: This course is for NDIS participants (carers encouraged to attend).
Age Requirement: Open to adults and teens (14+). Participants under 18 must attend with a paying parent/guardian.
Class Minimum: A minimum of 6 participants is required. If the class doesn’t reach capacity, we’ll contact you with alternative options or issue a refund.
Firing Allowance: Up to 2kg of work per student is included. Additional pieces can be fired at $10 per kilo.
Pickup: Finished pieces will be ready for collection 4-6 weeks after the course ends.
What to Bring
Clothing: Comfortable attire that can get messy; an apron or towel is recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required. The space is industrial, so dress accordingly for the season.
Nails: Shorter nails are advised for easier handling of clay.
A Few Notes
Attendance: Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Punctuality: Sessions include setup and clean up—arriving late means missing part of the class. Please notify us if you’re delayed.
Photography: We may take photos for promotional purposes. Let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.
